John Calvão, Managing Principal – Co-Head of Fund Arrow, participated this Friday, April 28th, in a Breakfast, promoted by the American Chamber of Commerce – AmCham Portugal and the Pestana Hotel Group, in Lisbon, dedicated to tourism and real estate in the context of relations between Portugal and the USA.
The meeting, which was attended by a number of industry players, highlighted the investment from the US that has been central to Portugal’s economic recovery, particularly in the tourism and real estate sectors. During the debate, moderated by José Roquette, Board Member & Chief Development Officer of Portugal’s largest hotel group, experts from the sector warned about the bureaucracy in the country and the need to improve infrastructure.
