Norfin recognized by Great Place to Work Portugal
Norfin, the leading real estate investment manager in Portugal, with almost 24 years of existence and €1.5 billion in assets under management, has just been certified Great Place to Work Portugal, joining a select group of companies that stand out for their excellent working environment and good people management practices.
“We are naturally very proud because this seal confirms the work we have been doing with Norfin’s employees, which involves investing in their well-being, in obtaining good working conditions and a good working environment, among the many initiatives we have been developing,” explains Francisco Sottomayor, Norfin’s CEO.
In order to be awarded this seal, Norfin underwent a process that was divided into two phases: one in which the company underwent an audit that analyzed its culture, work environment and human resources practices, and the other in which employees participated through a confidential and voluntary questionnaire. In the end, each company needs to have at least 65 points to be successful.
“At Norfin we place great value on the physical and mental well-being of our employees, knowing that for this to happen it is essential to have internal initiatives and policies that foster this well-being. That’s what we’ve been investing in, meeting different needs. This is the first of many seals we want to achieve,” says Inês Pimentel, Norfin’s Human Resources Director.
