Dom Pedro Golf Vilamoura wins “Portugal’s Golf Resort of the Year” award
This is the first award received since DETAILS – Hospitality, Sports, Leisure took over the management of Dom Pedro Golf in Vilamoura and recognizes the work that the hospitality, sports and leisure management company has done across the entire portfolio of Dom Pedro Golf and Hotels in Vilamoura since its acquisition by Arrow Global Group last year.
A total of 660 golf tour operators around the world voted for the best golf courses, resorts and destinations that offer exceptional service to their clients, with the Algarve resort standing out on the international scene.
Significant developments are currently underway across the Dom Pedro portfolio in Vilamoura, seeking to confirm this destination’s position as one of the best golf resorts in Europe. Designed by Frank Pennink, the Old Course, which is the second oldest in Portugal, is currently undergoing significant changes in an attempt to attract golfers to this unique golf destination. Offering guests easy access to multiple golf facilities within a 4 km radius of each other, the resort also has the Laguna, Millennium, Pinhal and Victoria courses, the latter of which, which hosted the European Tour’s Portugal Masters between 2007 and 2022, is currently closed for renovation and will reopen in 2025.
