Arrow Global Portugal hosts Innovation Challenge for the third time
Details – Hospitality, Sports & Leisure takes over the management of three more hotels in Vilamoura, strengthening its position in the region
As of October 1st, Details will be managing another portfolio of assets in Vilamoura. The operation includes the five-star Hilton Vilamoura As Cascatas Golf Resort & Spa, with 177 rooms, the 69-unit “As Cascatas” apartments, which are part of the same complex as the hotel, and the four-star Vilamoura Garden Hotel, with 59 rooms. With this addition, the management company owned by Arrow Global adds 305 accommodation units to the 1,700 it currently manages, bringing its portfolio to over 2,000.
The three assets had been acquired in October 2023 by one of the funds managed by Arrow Global and allowed it to strengthen its strategic positioning in Vilamoura.
“We are very excited about the addition of these three units to the Details portfolio, which will strengthen our presence in the destination, as well as our positioning as a specialist in integrated hotel, sports and leisure management,” explains Francisco Moser, CEO of Hospitality at Details.
Already underway is the repositioning of the Hilton Vilamoura, which should be completed by the first quarter of 2025, through “an investment to modernize the public areas, rooms and outdoor areas, in line with the brand’s requirements”, explains Francisco Moser, adding that “the aim is to reinforce cross-selling between the various amenities that the Group has in Vilamoura, including golf, the equestrian center and the marina, among others”.
The Algarve and Vilamoura in particular are strategic for Arrow Global, which, through the funds it manages, owns the *Vilamoura brand and is currently developing various plans and projects that will make it an even more attractive place to visit, live and invest. From new sports and leisure complexes to tourist and residential developments of various types, sizes and values, there will be a series of new amenities to complement the destination’s offer.
The Hilton Vilamoura As Cascatas Golf Resort & Spa is set in two hectares of landscaped gardens, adjacent to the prestigious Dom Pedro Pinhal golf course, located one kilometer from the center of Vilamoura. It has six swimming pools with waterfalls, the largest spa in Portugal and a children’s club.
